Many people often have problems with their employment contract. This was also the case for this employee at Amsterdam City Tours. Her employer had promised to extend her temporary six-month contract. This was recorded in a report. Two weeks later, the employer informed her that the contract would not be extended after all. The employee took the matter to court. The court ruled (almost a year later) that the employee was not entitled to a permanent contract, but was entitled to a six-month extension and therefore still has the right to six months’ salary. Are you uncertain about the proceedings regarding your contract (extension)? Contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
