What does the internship involve?

At Wessel Van der Lans Advocaten, we are looking for passionate law students who are nearing the end of their university studies. Internship positions are continuously available for master’s students.

What did you enjoy most about your internship?
“What I enjoyed most about the internship was attending meetings. At these moments, you not only see how the law is applied in practice, but you also see what emotions this sometimes evokes in people. You don’t learn this by solving a case study question on an exam.”
What kind of work did you do during the internship?
“During my internship, I conducted various case law and literature research, was allowed to write memos and letters, wrote articles for the newsletter, and was permitted to write a court document. Through the feedback I received on my work, I learned tremendously from this.”
Who are we?
Wessel Van der Lans Employment Law Attorneys is a young and informal law firm that is fully specialized in Employment Law. Our clients are primarily innovative companies in IT, food industry, culture, and media. However, we also work for (semi) government organizations and are happy to advise start-ups and scale-ups that want to grow.
